Iran Hits Alleged Mossad Headquarters in Tel Aviv Amid Escalating Cross-Border Strikes
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims a direct missile strike on the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, intensifying a dangerous cycle of retaliatory attacks between Tehran and Jerusalem.

Tensions between Iran and Israel reached a dangerous new height as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for a missile strike that reportedly hit the Mossad intelligence headquarters in Tel Aviv. According to Iranian state television, the attack targeted several high-level Israeli military and intelligence assets, including the Aman logistics facility and Mossad’s operations center in Herzliya.

Despite the gravity of the strike, Israeli military officials attempted to downplay the event, emphasizing damage to a nearby bus depot. However, regional analysts and media reports suggest that the attack was highly targeted, with direct hits on critical intelligence infrastructure.

The IRGC confirmed its involvement, declaring that the Mossad site was “currently ablaze” following the strike. The group stated that the assault was a retaliatory measure after Israel’s recent offensive actions, which included the assassination of senior Iranian commander Ali Shamdani in a precision airstrike over central Tehran.

Shamdani had assumed his role just four days earlier, replacing General Golam Ali Rashid, who was also killed in an Israeli strike. The loss of both senior leaders in rapid succession has sent shockwaves through Iran’s military hierarchy and further fueled its retaliatory stance.

In addition to the Tel Aviv strike, Israeli forces reported carrying out coordinated attacks on missile and drone facilities across western Iran. Surveillance footage released by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) showed black-and-white imagery of multiple explosions destroying launch pads and weapons depots.

The reciprocal strikes come just days after Israel launched a sweeping aerial offensive targeting Iranian military and nuclear assets, triggering a series of tit-for-tat attacks. International leaders have urged both nations to show restraint, warning of the broader implications for regional and global stability.

Despite these calls, the situation continues to spiral.
“This level of precision targeting suggests a shift in strategy from symbolic posturing to strategic disruption,” said Farhad Khaleghi, a Middle East security analyst. “If verified, the Mossad hit marks one of the most aggressive moves by Tehran in recent memory.”

As diplomatic channels remain largely silent, the world watches anxiously as two of the region’s most formidable powers edge closer to open conflict.
